Profile & Introduction

I have long academic career with academics (BHU, Mumbai University and JBIMS) where I was involved in teaching, research, training and administrative activities of JBIMS. Hence grooming students was my passion. In my corporate career (Wipro, RIL and now L&T HCI) I see myself involved in Institution building and development, change management, cultural, behavioral, strategic and developmental interventions, performance and talent management. I have conceptualized, designed, developed, managed and delivered wide range of training interventions at leadership and managerial levels, making impact across band and across national and international locations of the organizations. Informally I have been coaching and mentoring professionals / students within organization I have worked for. Currently working towards getting ICF accreditation (NL Institute, completed Unit 1 and Unit 2 and have started coaching on pro-bono and paid basis within L&T to fulfill requirements of ACC certification).

Motivation to join GAP Coaching programme

1. Global Action on Poverty (GAP) focus on eradicating poverty has humanistic appeal and I want to seriously contribute in positive manner in this area 2. I would like to make my humble contribution by devoting few hours to help any person in need 3. I am now professionally trained and am moving towards ACC - ICF accreditation, hence will be able to handle coaching assignment more professionally

I have worked as a mentor t a child from the Parikrama foundation for a year. Additionally i have worked with differently abled students to help with their integration and growth with christ university mentoring programme we set up. My experience in using the poverty simulation as part of the leadership programme to help sensitise leaders to also think about leadership differently. Part of the 10,000 women's programme initiative as part of Goldman Sachs to set up a mentoring programme post the ISB programme for over 5 years. An active volunteer for diversity led initiatives at GS .
